Job openings
Member of the EC
Function
One student from the PAC of each of the studies, so 6-7 in total, will also take part in the EC. The EC, thus, is a faculty-wide meeting where students and teachers from all the academic or research masters meet each other. In this meeting, you can discuss faculty-wide policies that impact education in your programme(s) and communicate with other students about your programme(s), potential problems and what could be done differently. The EC also advises the Board of Studies Graduate School, which focusses more on education organization instead of education quality. The function requires 2 extra hours per week with a flexible schedule and you will receive an extra grant of 57,95 euros, on top of the hours and grant from your PAC-function.
Note. This function is an addition to the PAC student function. You have to apply for PAC as well as for the EC function. For the research masters, it is customary that the second-year PAC-member attends the EC-meetings.
What do we expect?
You have all the qualifications that being a PAC-member requires and you have an extra interest in the workings and the structure of the faculty as a whole, in addition to having an interest in your own master’s program and field of study. It is important that you are able to represent your programme and think critically about how policies impact your programme and your fellow students.
What do we offer?
Being a member of the EC allows you to discuss and advise about the organization and the policy of education at a faculty level. By taking part in the EC, you can also talk about matters that are important for all the master programs of our faculty, in addition to specific courses of your master program as a PAC member.
