Student member of the Management Team (MT)

​Function

​The Sociology and Educational sciences Master programs have a student member in the Management Team of their education program. In the MT, you will collaborate with policy makers, education coordinators and financial advisers to make decisions about the organization of your master programme. As a student member, you will also have an intensive collaboration with the students of the PAC and with the MT student members of master or bachelor programmes, so you can best represent the student opinions. Every 6 weeks you will meet with the other Bachelor and Master MT student members to discuss the topics for the Board of Studies, such as language policy and electives policies. Hereby you can make sure the master student perspectives are taken into account. The function requires 2 hours per week with a flexible schedule and you will receive a grant of 57,95 euros.

​You can work well with the students of your PAC and the other student members of the MT as well as with policy makers and education staff. You are communicative and assertive and do not hesitate to give your opinion and ask questions. You are critical and able to give your opinion with relevant arguments. Furthermore, you are responsible and active and like to take initiative.

​We provide the opportunity to gain knowledge about the behind the scenes in your master programme. You gain insight into the educational policy and get the chance to deliver advice on it. In addition, you will get in touch with staff of your program and there is the space to set up projects and initiatives yourself.
