Function

As a student member of the Management Team (MT) of your study, you can also take part in the Board of Studies Undergraduate School/Graduate School (BoS UGS/GS). The BoS evaluates advice provided by the Educational Committee (EC) and decisions are made about the master programs based on the input of the MT meetings. You are responsible for student engagement in this governing body where all master directors are represented. Your role is critical in protecting the student’s interests when decisions are being made about faculty-wide policies. This role requires an extra 2 hours per week (on top of your MT role) with a largely flexible schedule and you will be compensated an extra 52,71 euros per month.

What do we expect?

As a BoS student member, you are communicative and well-structured. You like to work together but can also function independently. You do not mind some reading and you are always well prepared for meetings. You are able to communicate the knowledge you gain in meetings and from documents to other students.

What do we offer?

As a member of the Board of Studies Undergraduate School/Graduate School, you gain insight into the faculty’s policy processes. You get the opportunity to build a large network within the faculty and discuss faculty broad topics in the meetings. By taking part in the BoS GS you get insight into the functioning of a large organization and actively engage in it.

This is a document (max. 1 a4) in which at least the following items are included: personal data (name, address, date of birth, study etc.), the reason you would like to apply for this function, why you are suitable for this function and your personal activities and interests. Additionally, we’d like to receive your Curriculum Vitae.
