Student member Board of Studies Undergraduate School/Graduate School (BoS UGS/GS)
Function
As a student member of the EC, you also have the opportunity to represent the master students of the entire faculty in the BoS UGS/GS. The Board of Studies Undergraduate School/Graduate School (BoS UGS/GS) has four student representatives, one student from an academic master program, two from a bachelor program and the student-assessor. As a student member of the BoS UGS/GS, you are responsible for student engagement in this governing body where all master directors are represented. Faculty policies will be discussed which also affect your own master program. When reviewing pieces, you are critical and think about the student’s interests. The function requires an extra 2 hours per week with a flexible schedule and you will receive a grant of 57,95 euros in addition to the grants for your other functions.
Note. This function is an addition to the EC student function. You have to apply for PAC and EC as well.
What do we expect?
As a BoS UGS/GS student member, you are communicative and structured. You like to work together but can also function independently. You do not mind reading policies and reports and you are always well prepared for meetings. You are able to communicate the knowledge you gain in meetings and from documents to other students.

Being in the Board of Studies Undergraduate School/Graduate School gives you the opportunity to gain insight into the faculty’s policy processes and to give your opinion on those topics. You get the opportunity to build a large network within the faculty and participate in interesting conferences and symposia outside the university. By taking part in the BoS UGS/GS you get insight into the functioning of a large organization and actively engage in it.
